Creative Director / Core Design

Branding Direction

At Ritual, I led branding creation and box art direction for SiN, establishing a bold, character-driven visual identity that set it apart in the FPS market. The branding system reinforced Ritual’s creative voice while helping position SiN as a cult-classic original IP.

Manual

At Ritual, I designed the SiN game manual as a narrative extension of the experience, with the writing and concepts we leveraged a unique way to tell John R. Blade’s and Sinclair’s story while expanding insight into the universe. The manual helped establish the world and aided in deepening emotional connection before gameplay even began.

Key Art

Directing concept design, we created key art and video content that captured the attitude, edge, and personality of SiN. These materials translated the game’s tone into instantly recognizable visuals used across marketing and retail channels.

Press Support

My branding & marketing history comes through with the materials I oversaw, as we supported magazine covers and press with custom visuals, layouts, and assets tailored for editorial impact. This work helped SiN stand out in print media and reinforced its identity across global gaming publications.

1998

SiN was Ritual Entertainment’s first original universe and the foundation on which the studio’s reputation was built. I founded and shaped the art house culture that powered the project, building teams and contributing across every level of development for more than a decade.

From early concept and world-building to branding, marketing, and final execution, I led from the trenches alongside artists, designers, and engineers. SiN established Ritual’s early creative voice. We blended bold visual identity with strong gameplay sensibilities, and proved our ability to create, own, and ship original IP that stood out in a competitive FPS market.

The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of B. Anderson, M. Hadwin, J. Mueller, B. Riza, GlyphX (Branding and Cinematics) and J. Thomas (Concept Artist). It was an honor to

lead them.
