& Game Design

New company and new IP, which I was blessed enough to have led the creation of the Fallen Shadows' universe.

In the small Happy Muffin Top studio, was able to lead branding, environmental visuals, and game design for Fallen Shadows, building a rich mysterious universe inspired by my love of the city of New Orleans.

Game Strategy Guide

Every part of the game was hand crafted, and lots of love went into all aspects, even the game’s strategy which continued the narrative progression and exploration of the universe.

Promotional & Corporate Materials

With my love of creating marketing and sales materials, I created the promotional sales sheets using key art from the game, which were used as branding materials supporting marketing and sales.

Universe Creation & Product Design

The Fallen Shadows universe was one of my original universes, and I loved the concept process and work our small team accomplished. We defined everything in this universe, and setting the tone and identity was such a joy.

Game UI & Menus

My love of menu and UI design came through with the systems that created in this mystery-driven adventure game.

Fallen Shadows II

With my love of creating marketing and sales materials, I created the promotional sales sheets using key art from the continued branding, visual direction, and game design leadership on the sequel, expanding the universe while preserving its identity.

— DATE

2011/TBD

After leaving MumboJumbo, I co-founded Happy Muffin Top with Richard Luong and Adrian Carmack. Our boutique art house created the Fallen Shadows mystery adventure franchise, inspired by the mysticism of New Orleans.

I contributed across concept direction, environmental visuals, game design, menu design, UI, and branding. Leading from the trenches, we focused on atmosphere, narrative, and strong visual identity, proving that small, focused teams can deliver rich, memorable worlds with personality and depth.

The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of R. Luong (Concept Artist), LEVELORD, R. Atkins, C. Atkins, and A. Carmack. It was an honor to lead them.
