Community Icon Award

At Industry Giants 2018, I was honored at the annual event with the Community Icon Award for my history in Interactive Entertainment. Industry Giants, the premiere Texas animation, game development, and computer graphics event, is produced by non-profit organization, ABOSG. I was the first person in the Interactive Entertainment industry to win the award.

Speaking: OP Live

At OP LIVE, I spoke on the topic of gaming and violence. There is a lot of misconception and misinformation out in the media on this issue and I shared my views on this hot topic. Many of my best friends have their roots in the gaming industry and we see positive opportunities for video games to have a profound effect on our lives and the world around us. I am glad to have the opportunity to show all the good that can come from gaming.

ExtraLife and Children's Health

Across nearly a dozen events, my team produced live-streamed event interactive applications. We connected the worlds of esports, professional athletes, online gamers, philanthropy, and cancer-fighting technologies together. These technologies created unique experiences, like helping researchers to find a cure for cancer through gaming, in addition to raising funds for Children’s Health and Make-a-Wish. Learn more LINK

Esports

For years, we partnered with the Esports Awards and Teams during tournaments, like WOW Race to World First. We did things like building the official companion apps and live-streaming interactive experiences. During that time, I was asked to speak at events and onto boards which helped shape the industry. From the first e3 in 1996 when we launched Duke Nukem 3D to local IDGA events, it has always been about the people who work so hard to bring our industry to life. It's been an honor to be friends with some of the greatest and to be a small part of this amazing industry.

Speaking Events

It took me 20 years before I got out of my shell and started speaking in public, and it has been an honor to tell my story and the story of all of the amazing people I serve. Be it while representing a company, org, industry or even a community, my goal is to leave a positive impact.

FPS Movie

This documentary is the ultimate celebration of the FPS genre. It was an honor to be part of this film which revisited the greatest ever FPS games, guided by the developers who created them.
