While the concept had a number of false starts, I led a small pre-vis team who landed on the product’s branding, visual direction, and game design for Glowfish. Our work shaped a charming and original universe, with outstanding visuals which became a defining factor in its international success.

Cinematic Direction

Working with the uber talented Kelly Hamilton, I directed cinematic elements that reinforced character, warmth, and narrative tone. These moments enhanced emotional connection to the Glowfish universe.

Menu Design

Menus and HUD design to match the game’s playful, approachable personality. The UI was treated as an extension of the world itself.

For Glowfish, I built and led an exceptional art team that crafted the visuals for an entirely original universe. I directed key art teams across concept development and environmental visual design, working closely alongside artists such as Kelly Hamilton.


Leading from the trenches, I focused on charm, color, and personality, ensuring the world felt inviting and memorable. Glowfish became an international hit, celebrated for its visual appeal and warmth, demonstrating how strong art direction and team collaboration can elevate original IP into a beloved global success.


The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of K. Hamilton (Concept Artist), R. Luong and others. It was an honor to work with K. Hamilton to establish the wonderful visuals for Glowfish.
