As Creative Director of Ritual, I led the branding creation for the Heavy Metal game, designing logos, box art, and a cohesive corporate identity that faithfully reflected the attitude, tone, and legacy of the IP. Every visual decision was guided by respect for the source material while ensuring the product stood confidently as a modern interactive experience.

AD Creation

I conceived and executed a series of advertisements in under a week that helped define Heavy Metal’s wild, sexy, and unapologetic brand identity. Working at speed without sacrificing intent, these ads set the tone for how the product was perceived—bold, irreverent, and instantly recognizable.

As Creative Director, I designed and produce The Making of Heavy Metal editorial content featured in print magazines, detailing the creative process behind the game. This work highlighted the collaboration with Kevin Eastman, the art direction, and the craftsmanship required to translate a legendary IP into an interactive format.

As Creative Director of Ritual, I created and creatively directed promotional key art and video assets used to market the Heavy Metal game across retail and media channels. These materials captured the raw energy and visual identity of the brand, ensuring the product was immediately recognizable and emotionally aligned with fans of the IP.

As Creative Director of Ritual, I served as product owner and helped bring a legendary Heavy Metal IP into interactive form.


I assembled and mentored a small team of artists I personally brought into the industry, guiding them through the creative and production process. Working closely with Kevin Eastman, I translated his vision and the spirit of Heavy Metal into a cohesive brand experience, balancing respect for the source material in an interactive experience.


The work blended creative stewardship, brand building, and hands-on leadership to ensure the IP was honored while expanded for a new audience.


The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of J. Thomas (Concept Artist), B. Anderson, D. Hart, J. Mueller (Concept Artist), Z. Hall (Concept Artist), B. Riza (Branding Artist), Luis Royo (box illustration), Kevin Eastman, Simon Bisley and others. It was an honor to lead them.
