Samantha Swift 2

Creative Director / Core Design / Branding

Franchise Direction & Design

With this original franchise at MumboJumbo, I led branding, character design, environmental direction, and game design for Samantha Swift games. The franchise blended strong narrative with approachable gameplay.

These adventure games were fun to design with John Newcomer.

Cinematic Direction

Working with an amazing concept and writing team, I guided cinematic direction to expand story depth while maintaining tone. These moments added emotional weight and pacing.

Menu & Hud Design

Like with all original MumboJumbo titles, I lead the creation of the branding and key art for the product. The menus followed the visual language I established for the brand and was used to define the UI systems for the franchise.

Key Art & Logo Design

Like with all original MumboJumbo titles during my time at the company, I directed promotional key art, created the box and logo design used across marketing and retail. These assets helped establish franchise recognition early.

Continuing my work on Samantha Swift, I managed and guided teams as the franchise evolved. My contributions spanned concept direction, environment design, gameplay systems, UI, menus, and branding, ensuring consistency while allowing creative growth.

Leading from the trenches across multiple studios, I focused on alignment between story, visuals, and player experience. This sustained hands-on leadership helped the franchise mature while maintaining the charm and identity that made it successful.

The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of K. Hamilton (Concept Artist), R. Luong (Concept Artist), C. Lee and K. Korneev & Hot Lava Team. It was an honor to lead them.
